A slim silhouette is chasing a boat

 

Persistently through the spray,

 

Never, not ever, to overtake

 

The boat that can’t get away.

 

Forward and sideward, laying a trap,

 

Crouching as if to spring,

 

The slim silhouette plays games with the boat
